Sexual Intercourse from Behind in The Maliki School

There is a wide spread rumor that the Maliki school allows a person to have relations with ones wife from behind. [1] This is a complete lie and accusation against the madhab.

All of the early Muslims (Salaf) and later Muslims (Khalaf) declared this action haram.

Imam Ahmad narrates in his Musnad, "Allah will not look at a person who has relations with his wife while she is menustrating , nor a man who approaches his wife from behind." Mulla Ali Al-Qari said commentating on this, "His look of mercy and compassion."

Ibn Khuzaiyma narrates with a connected chain back to Muhammad (Saw), "Indeed God does not shy away from the truth. Do not approach your woman from behind."

Imam Badr Ud-Din Al-Aiyni says in his commentary on Bukhari on the verse, "Woman are your tillings fields so approach you tilling fields however you wish." 'Many Ahadith are narrated on this hadith showing that this ayah allows a person to come to his wife's vagina from any direction, (not from behind)

Imam Al-Qarafi says in the Dhakira:

Abdullah Ibn Wahb said to Imam Malik, Indeed some people narrate from you that you allow intercourse from behind. He said, 'I seek refuge in Allah!' 'Are you not a nation of Arabs'''? I Said, "Of course." He then said Allah says in the Quran, "Your woman are your tilling fields so approach your tilling fields however you wish" 'Can cultivation be in a place other than the place of cultivation!?" (meaning how is the behind of a woman a place of cultivation?)

Israil ibn Ruh asked Imam Malik about approaching a woman from behind, He said, "You people arent real Arabs. 'Can cultivation be in a place other than the place of cultivation!?''' Have you not heard the verse of Allah?, "Your woman are your tilling fields so approach your tilling fields however you wish" meaning standing, sitting, or on her side, nothing besides the Vagina (This Ayah is just talking about angle) I then said to him, "They narrate from you the permissiblity of approaching a woman from behind" He said, "They are lying about me! They are lying about me! They are lying about me! - (Daraqutni)

Ali Ibn Ziyad said to him, "Oh Abu Abdullah (Imam Malik) there are some people in Egypt who narrate from you that you allow a woman to be approached from behind", He said, "They are Lying!"

[1] Every-time I mention "from behind", I'm referring to Anal Intercourse. The Prophet (Saw) was not shy from the truth, however, he used euphemisms when referring to these topics.
