Did Shaykh Muhammad Ṭāhir ibn ʿĀshur āl-Māliki's Claim all the Signs of the Day of Judgement are

No. This is a distortion from ‘Mufti’ Abu Layth who states, “Shaykh Muhammad Tahir Ibn Ashur in his, تحقيقات و أنظار highlights how all beliefs regarding all signs of the hour are not a part of creed rather معارف اسلامية Islamic information.”

Shaykh Muhammad Tahir Ibn Ashur does not generalize all the signs of the day of judgment, rather he only speaks of, “المهدي المنتظر" in both of his works, (جمهرة مقالات ورسائل الشيخ الإمام محمد الطاهر ابن عاشور) that the belief in Imam al-Mahdi is from the Islamic teachings/doctrine (تعاليم الإسلام ) not creed. (This is a weak rejected opinion) and in “تحقيقات وأنظار في القرآن والسنة, Pg. 49-50.” he says that it is from Islamic information (معارف). Nowhere else in those 2 books does he mention, Dajjal, the descent of Isa, The rising of the sun from the west, or any other signs.

Another reason why Shaykh Muhammad Tahir ibn Ashur did not generalize the signs of the Day of Judgment is what he mentions in his book, “At-Tahrir wa-Tanwir”, “And from amongst the group of verses which Allah made for all people are the signs of the hour: and amongst them are rising of the sun from the west, when it will be commanded to perish from this temporal world. Imam Bukhari, and Muslim narrate from the Prophet of Allah, ‘The Hour shall not come until the sun rises from the west, and then when it rises all of mankind will believe, and that shall be at a time when Iman shall not benefit a soul except one who had believed beforehand.’ then he read the ayah in regards to it. And the benefit which is being referred to is benefit in the afterlife, by being saved from punishment, because when the worldly punishment comes, both groups, Muslim and Kafir, are not saved altogether from it, for the saying of the ayah, ‘Fear a punishment which will not distinguish between the ones who oppress amongst you and those who don't.’ (Al-Anfal, Ayah 25)”’ - (At-Tahrir wa-Tanwir. V8. Pg 186)

from these passages it is clear that Shaykh Muhammad Tahir ibn Ashur did not generalize the signs of the day of judgment, by claiming that he generalized them, one would be claiming that he denied verses from the Quran, and this is an absolute false statement. He clearly shows that he does not generalize the signs or reject any verses of the Quran in the above quotation and many others.
